Infamous Art Collective to debut January exhibit, ‘Somewhere Between Forsaken and Abandoned’ this Saturday, Jan. 21

BUCKHANNON — The Blaxxmith Shop Gallery and the Infamous Art Collective are proud to raise the curtain on their newest exhibit, ‘Somewhere Between Forsaken and Abandoned’ at 6 p.m. this Saturday, Jan. 21 at 38 East Main Street in Buckhannon.

This theme explores who can explain what gets left behind, or why? The contents of our baggage, continuously in flux. The things we’ve found, the things we’re given, what we’ve fought for, what we’ve learned. Our hopes, our dreams, our ideas, the good and the bad. On January 21st, join The iNFAMOUS ART COLLECTIVE as we look at the things we let go in, “Somewhere Between Forsaken and Abandoned.”

The Blaxxmith Shop, in association with the West Virginia Jazz Society, is proud to present The Vince Lewis Trio consisting of renowned jazz musicians, Vince Lewis (guitar), Bob Bowen (bass), and Mark Cappellini (drums).

The Vince Lewis Trio will be playing Saturday, January 21st, beginning at 6 p.m. at the one and only The iNFAMOUS Art Gallery on Main Street Buckhannon.

Vince Lewis is a veteran jazz performer, composer and recording artist. He has been a headliner on Jazz Festivals with Dave Brubeck, B.B King, Ellis Marsalis, Lou Rawls, Mundell Lowe, John Pizzarelli and Melissa Manchester. Vince has been a featured performer in concert at The Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. as at the Smithsonian Institute Jazz Bar. He also has served as Staff Guitarist at the Ritz-Carlton Resort Palm Beach, Florida, and at The Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs, W.Va.

Come enjoy live music, free food and art from the area’s finest artists. Special guest, tattoo artist Kloe Tankersley of Blades and Fades, will be joining us, offering a flash set up, cash only!

The event is free and everyone is welcome! While donations are not required, they are significant and appreciated.
