TENNERTON — Fourth‑quarter play opened Wednesday in the Buckhannon Country Club Bob Cupp Memorial Golf League, with several teams grabbing early momentum.
First Community Bank surged to the top of the standings after rolling past Feola’s Flowers, 29½–10½.
Hank Ellis Insurance sits in second place following a decisive 24½–11½ win over Sunset Graphics, while Highland Landscaping holds third after edging LynxWV, 22–18.
Custom Cabinets opened the quarter in fourth place with a 21½–18½ victory over High Point Construction.
Lisa Cain Edward Jones claimed fifth after slipping past Sam’s Pizza, 20½–19½.
Danny Hinzman of First Community Bank earned Low Actual honors with a 37 and added Low Net honors with a 29.
