High Point Construction takes lead in Bob Cupp Memorial Golf League

TENNERTON – After taking last week off for the Fourth of July holiday, the Buckhannon Country Club Bob Cupp Memorial Golf League resumed third-quarter action on Wednesday.

High Point Construction took the second-week third-quarter lead after a 23 ½-15 ½ decision over Highland Landscaping with 46 ½ points.

Highland Landscaping fell from third place to fourth place with 40 ½ points.

Last week’s leader, Sealcoat Concepts, dropped into second place with 45 points after losing a 22-14 decision to Sam’s Pizza.

Feola’s Flowers also dropped a spot to third place with 44 ½ points after losing a 21 ½-18 ½ decision to Hank Ellis Insurance.

Hank Ellis Insurance moved into fifth place with the win with 40 ½ points.

In the other two matches of the week, Baker Tilly defeated First Community Bank by a 23-17 score and Lisa Cain Edward Jones beat Custom Cabinets by a 21 ½-18 ½ count.

John Moss of Sam’s Pizza took home Low Actual honors with a 34 while Paul Dibiccari of Baker Tilly won Low Net honors with a 29.
