Clifford Edward “Ace” Blagg

Clifford Edward “Ace” Blagg, age 63, of Buckhannon, WV, went to heaven on March 3, 2026, from St. Joseph’s Hospital.

He was born January 6, 1963, a son of the late George Auldon Blagg and Mildred Faye Reed Blagg. On April 16, 1982, he married Terry Jane Beckner, who survives. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Gabriel Storm Mayo, and a special nephew, Patrick Peck.

Ed is survived by one son, Jason Edward Blagg of Buckhannon, WV; two daughters, Nicole Dawn Coe and husband, Tim, of French Creek, and Jessica Shay Johnson and husband, Travis, of Buckhannon; 16 grandkids, JR Renfrew and wife, Amanda, of French Creek, Brianna Shaw and husband, Seth, of Philippi, Zack Coe and wife, Alivia, of Buckhannon, Hunter Coe of Buckhannon, Brett Coe and wife, Maddy, of Rosedale, David Coe and fiancé, Lynzy Champ, of Buckhannon, William Coe, Lynnzie Coe and companion, Ben Atkinson, Brayden Coe, Jazzmyn Coe, all of French Creek, Aries Mayo and companion, Hannah, Ariah Mayo, Ollie Mayo, Amara Mayo, Indica Rose Johnson, and Russel Edward Johnson, all of Buckhannon; 11 great-grandkids, Rebecca, Ashley, and Roree Renfrew, Aurelia, Aspen, and Atlas Shaw, Evelynn, Avery, Amelia, Maverick, and Aurora Coe; one great-great-granddaughter, Willow Kahlbaugh; two brothers, Greg Blagg of Big Bend and James Blagg and wife, Susan, of Killbuck, OH; five sisters, Gail Stump of Napier, Judy Posey and husband, Mike, of TN, Kavy Kelly and husband, Dave, of Buckhannon, Desirae Blagg of KY, Georgetta Blagg of OH, and Dusty Majzer and husband, Troy, of OH; 21 nieces and nephews; 27 great-nieces and nephews; and one great-great-nephew.

Ed was a tree surgeon most of his life. He loved trees and could climb one in record time. He loved everything outdoors, including camping, hunting, fishing, and tinkering in his garage. He also loved gardening and was so proud that he shared his produce with everyone he could. Spending time with his family and friends meant the world to him, especially his family reunions and horseshoe tournaments with his brothers, sons, and grandsons. He took pride that he was quite often the champion.

Friends and family will gather for visitation at the Waterloo Church in French Creek from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2026. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Wease Day officiating. Burial will follow in the Waterloo Cemetery in French Creek.
