Helen Ann Crumrine

Helen Ann Crumrine, age 84, of Buckhannon, WV, died Friday, March 7, 2025, at Holbrook Healthcare Center in Buckhannon. She was born May 8, 1940, in Philippi, WV, a daughter of the late Clarence Coleman and Georgia Virginia Winans Smith.

On May 19, 1961, she married James Richard Crumrine who preceded her in death on March 13, 2001. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, Opal Seech.

She is survived by one daughter, Beth Ann Aegan and husband William of Buckhannon; one stepdaughter, Louise Seals; one grandson, Derrick Aegan and wife Ashley of Buckhannon; one great granddaughter, Sophia Aegan of Buckhannon; one great-grandson, Connor Aegan of Buckhannon; three sisters, Lottie Seech and husband Louie of Buckhannon, Evelyn Murphy and Margie Riggs both of Buckhannon; and one brother, Harold Smith and wife Joan of OH.

Mrs. Crumrine was a homemaker and a Baptist by faith. She loved to work Word Search Puzzles and spend time with her grandson and great-grandchildren. She will be missed by many family members and friends. One of her favorite passions was mowing the lawn and visiting with the ladies of the church while making cookies for the community.

Friends will be received Wednesday, March 12, 2025, from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Wease L. Day officiating, with burial to follow in the Heavner Cemetery in Buckhannon.
