Hank Ellis Insurance grabs week three lead in men’s golf league standings

TENNERTON – Hank Ellis Insurance is your week three leader in the Buckhannon Country Club Bob Cupp Memorial Golf League standings.

Hank Ellis Insurance won a 19-16 decision over Feola’s Flowers to move from a second place tie last week into the lead with 55 points.

Highland Landscaping earned a 19-15 victory over High Point Construction putting them in second place with 54 ½ points.

Baker Tilly moved up two spots from fifth place to third place with a 19-17 ½ win over First Community Bank with 54 points.

Lisa Cain Edward Jones also moved up two spots from sixth place to fourth place after defeating Custom Cabinets by an 18-12 score as they now have 52 ½ points.

The other match of the week saw Sam’s Pizza down last week’s leader UniFirst Corporation by a 19-13 ½ score.

That allowed Sam’s Pizza to take over fifth place and dropped UniFirst Corporation all the way down to sixth place.

Mike Tenney of Baker Tilly earned Low Actual honors with a 37 and Low Net honors with a 31.
