Golf ‘Cats place 16th out of 16 at D&E Invite

ROANOKE, W.Va. — The West Virginia Wesleyan men’s golf team competed at the Davis & Elkins Invitational Sept. 28 at Stonewall Resort in Roanoke, W.Va. The Bobcats finished 16th overall as a team out of 16 teams.
 
Alexis Abalos finished tied for 26th place. Abalos drilled four birdies and 22 pars combined in the event.

Dan Morgret shot two rounds of 82 and finished 57th overall with a score of 164.

Rounding out the scoring for the Bobcats was Matt Allen (170), Rigel Wilson (177), and Gavin Wilson (197).
 
The Bobcats will compete in the Mountain East Conference Championship next week (Oct. 4-6) at Avalon Lakes Golf Course in Warren, Ohio.
