Four New Year’s Eve parties on tap at Stonewall Resort Dec. 28- Jan. 1

Weston, W.Va. – Stonewall Resort is hosting a series of end-of-year events to usher out the old and ring in the new Dec. 28-Jan. 1, to include four over-the-top New Year’s Eve parties.

“Guests looking to end the year on a high note and start 2019 in style will enjoy the variety of activities we have planned Dec. 28 – Jan. 1,” said André D’Amour, general manager of Stonewall Resort. “From a variety of New Year’s Eve parties that will appeal to everyone to a comedy performance, bourbon tasting and Yuengs & Wings event, guests will enjoy all we have planned.”

D’Amour said the resort will offer four over-the-top New Year’s Eve parties on Monday, Dec. 31 to help usher in 2019: one exclusive event at Lightburn’s Restaurant, a resort Ballroom Package and upgraded VIP Ballroom Package, and the Stillwaters Package. Each celebration includes dinner, dancing, overnight accommodations and more.

On Sunday, Dec. 30, West Virginia’s premier comedy troupe, The Fearless Fools, will conduct a live comedy show at 8 p.m. The performance will feature improvisational comedy akin to the “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” TV show.

For the bourbon lover, the resort will host a special tasting event from 6 p.m.-10 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 29 featuring Woodford Reserve Double Oaked, Blanton’s, Booker’s, Wild Turkey Longbranch, Buffalo Trace and Maker’s Mark 46. Admission is just $35.

And, on Friday, Dec. 28 guests can enjoy “Yuengs & Wings” in TJ Muskies Bar & Grill throughout the day and evening. For just $35, enjoy a dozen wings, music and three beers from America’s oldest brewery, Yuengling.

Special wing flavors will include Bourbon Molasses, Tandoori, Garlic Parmesan, Ragin Cajun, and Buffalo & Bleu.
