BUCKHANNON – A house fire on Island Avenue Thursday was deemed unsuspicious.
A house fire at 49 Island Avenue was called into the Buckhannon Fire Department at 1:59 p.m., according to firefighter Tanner Smith. The fire originated and was contained to the exterior of the building, and firefighters extinguished the blaze at approximately 2:06 p.m.
No one was home at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported.
