Donald Eugene “Don” Linger, Sr.

Donald Eugene “Don” Linger, Sr., age 79, of Rock Cave, died at his home on Friday, June 7, 2024. 

He was born August 21, 1944, in Pennsylvania, a son of the late Anthony Burke and Loua Gould Linger.  

He was united in marriage on February 8, 1963, to Etta May Gould Linger, who survives.  In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Ethel and husband Edward Gillum, Jr. of French Creek; three sons:  Donald Linger, Jr. and wife Barbara of Rock Cave, Walt Linger of Rock Cave, Christopher Linger and wife Hellen of Rock Cave; several grandchildren and great grandchildren survive.  

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son James Glen “Jimmy” Linger and one brother James Glen Linger.

Friends will be received at the Heavner and Cutright Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 from 11-1:00 PM. The family has honored his wishes for cremation following the visitation, and there will be no services.
