Weyerhaeuser to hold job fair in Belington on May 28

Weyerhaeuser will host a job fair on Thursday, May 28, 2026, in Belington to fill openings in production and skilled trades.

The event runs from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Belington Volunteer Fire Department, 301 Watkins St., Belington.

The company is hiring manufacturing associates, skilled industrial mechanics and skilled industrial electricians. Manufacturing associates start at $19.83 an hour with semi-annual increases. Mechanics and electricians start at $34 an hour with annual increases.

Candidates need a high school diploma or GED and must be able to pass pre-employment testing, a background check and a drug screen. The jobs require rotating shifts — including potentially days, nights, weekends and holidays — and employees must be willing to wear all required personal protective equipment.
