Denny “Keith” O’Keith Phillips

Denny “Keith” O’Keith Phillips, 68, of Buckhannon, W.Va., died Monday, August 23, 2021, at Davis Medical Center in Elkins, W.Va.

He was born April 23, 1953, in Buckhannon, W.Va., a son of the late Oscar Richard and Hazel Lenora Burr Phillips.

On June 19, 1998, he married Debra Bennett who survives. Also surviving are four children, Angela Rodrique and husband Gary, Christopher Phillips and wife Carissa, Nicole Tomey and husband Ryan and Timothy Phillips all of Buckhannon; three granddaughters, Regan Rodrique, Lexi Phillips and Savannah Tomey all of Buckhannon; four grandsons, Damien and Cage Rodrique, Kaiden Tomey and Brenson Phillips all of Buckhannon; two sisters, Lenora Peterson of Safety Harbor, Fla. and Kay Hurst and husband Ron of French Creek, W.Va.; one brother, Richard Phillips and wife Charlotte of French Creek; brother-in law, David “Toby” Bennett of Buckhannon; several nieces and nephews and special niece and side kick, Kathy Bailey of Buckhannon.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one grandson, Kolton Tomey and mother-in-law, Margaret Bennett.

Mr. Phillips retired from High Point Construction. He loved to golf and hunt and above all he loved his family.

A memorial gathering will be held 4 p.m. Saturday, August 28, 2021, at his home 3892 Old Elkins Road, Buckhannon, WV. In honoring Mr. Phillip’s wishes he will be cremated.
