David Lee Hardman

David Lee Hardman, 59, of Buckhannon, died peacefully at his home on Thursday, April 29, 2021, with his loving family by his side.  

He was born on August 21, 1961, a son of the late Charles Franklin Hardman and he is survived by his mother Linda Sloane of Anchorage, Alaska.  In addition to his father, he was preceded in death on May 16, 2008, by his first wife Vicki Rae Elmer Hardman. 

He is survived by his second wife Nancy Hardman; one son David Kyle Hardman of Maryland; two brothers Jonathon Emery and C.W. Emery both of Maryland; one sister Teresa Hardman of Anchorage, Alaska; mother-in-law Charlotte “Ma” Gioffre; niece Tosha Sweet and husband Ryan of Jacksonville, N.C.; nephew Charles (Chase) Bowser and wife Lindsay of Anchorage, Alaska; an abundance of other family members and friends surviving.

The family will receive friends on Monday, May 3, 2021, from 4-6 p.m. at the Heavner and Cutright Funeral Chapel.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 4, 2021, at 11 a.m. at the Heavner and Cutright Funeral Chapel with Pastor Ed Lowther officiating. Interment will follow in the Heavner Cemetery.
