Corennia Carolyn Perry Cowan

Corennia Carolyn Perry Cowan, former Buckhannon resident and Buckhannon-Upshur Graduate Class of 1966, age 74, of Huntersville, NC, was called Home to Heaven on Good Friday, Friday, April 7, 2023, in peace in her home in Huntersville, NC with her daughter and son-in-law by her side.

She was born November 11, 1948, in Weston, WV, a daughter of the late Clifford Marvin and Grace Bird Perry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, Marvilene Cosner and Karen Sue George, and one brother, Derry Robert Perry.

She is survived by her only daughter, Rainbow Cowan-Crabb (Jerry Crabb), and two step-grandchildren, Patrick Lane, and Jaret Crabb (Brittany), four brothers, Clifford James (Jim) Perry (Connie) of Buckhannon, Roger Perry (Donna) of Buckhannon, Kenny Perry (Teresa) of Clarksburg, and Danny Perry of Hodgesville,  and two sisters, Anna Lee Bennett (Carl) and Sandy Davis (Bob) both of Buckhannon.  

There will be graveside services on Sunday, May 14, 2023, at 1 pm at Bailey Cemetery in Buckhannon that is open to the public. There will be a private family Celebration of Life following graveside services at an undisclosed location.
