Change in services at Davis Medical Center Alternative Drive-Thru Screen Unity

ELKINS, W.Va. — Starting April 2, 2021 the Davis Medical Center’s Alternative Drive-Thru Screening Unit (ASU) will only provide COVID-19 testing. Originally the ASU was designed for COVID-19 testing and other screenings such as flu, strep throat, and RSV to reduce the amount of exposure in Davis Medical Center’s indoor clinics.

The ASU will continue to provide COVID-19 testing 6 days a week. If you are experiencing symptoms outside of COVID-19, we are encouraging individuals to return to their primary care doctor or seek medical care at DirectCare of Elkins.

DirectCare of Elkins features a drive-thru clinic and walk-in services for patients with acute, non-emergent conditions like burns, sprains, strains and cuts. If you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms please use the drive-thru clinic. DirectCare of Elkins is open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., and Sunday Noon – 4 p.m., and is located at 720 Beverly Pike, Elkins, WV 26241.
