TENNERTON – The CEC Upshur County Summer Basketball League started their final regular season week on Monday with a trio of games.
In the opener on Monday, TKS Contracting beat KBAM Builders as Jaret Mullooly led TKS Contracting with 35 points while Nate Smarr led KBAM Builders with 18.
In the second game, CEC defeated KBAM Builders by a 61-46 count as Ryan Hurst scored a game-high 20 points for CEC while Aidan Singleton had 13 for KBAM Builders.
The final game saw On Point Athletics beat High Point Construction by an 87-69 score as Malachi Watson tallied a game-high 27 points for On Point Athletics and Evan Frankenberry led High Point Construction with 18 points.
The league took Tuesday off for the Fourth of July holiday and resumed play on Wednesday with a trio of games. They will have three games on Thursday then conclude the regular season on Friday with two games.
