Buckhannon residents likely to see increase in public safety fees starting July 1

Joshua Hall has been reappointed to a second five-year term as Milan Puskar Dean of WVU’s John Chambers College of Business and Economics, following a Spring 2026 review that praised his leadership and work ethic.

Spring is bringing a wave of upgrades around Buckhannon, from new playground equipment at North Buckhannon Park to a Charles Gibson Library roof replacement.

Buckhannon-Upshur High School seniors can apply for several spring scholarships worth $500–$1,000, with deadlines from April 15 through May 8 and additional Appalachian Impact awards for fall 2026.
