Philippi, W.Va. – Broaddus Hospital is hosting “Wellness Wednesdays” throughout the month of June to make valuable, low cost blood screenings affordable and easily available.
Every Wednesday morning in June, beginning on June 2nd, Broaddus will provide a multi-phasic blood panel screening for $35. Screenings are available between 7 and 9 am. The panel includes CBC, a comprehensive metabolic panel, and a lipid panel.
Discounted prices also apply to other key blood tests including thyroid, (TSH), and thyroid profile, (PSA) prostate, testosterone, 25-hydroxy Vitamin D, HbA1c (diabetes), C-Reactive Protein (CRP), Iron, Total Iron Binding Capacity (TIBC), and Vitamin B12, folate.
Pre-registration is not required, however, individuals should fast for 12 hours before getting blood tests to ensure the most accurate results. Payment may be made at the time of the test by check, credit card or cash.
