Beckley to retain rights to WVSSAC state soccer tournament

The WVSSAC Board of Directors has chosen the Paul Cline Memorial Sports Complex in Beckley to continue hosting the state soccer championships through 2028, extending its long-running role as the event’s venue since 2003.

VIENNA — The WVSSAC has announced that the Paul Cline Memorial Sports Complex in Beckley will serve as the host site for the WVSSAC state soccer championships from 2025-2028. The venue has served as the host for the soccer championship since 2003.

The decision was made by the WVSSAC Board of Directors during a recent meeting.

“The WVSSAC is proud to partner with the Paul Cline Memorial Sports Complex to host the state soccer championships,” said David Price, WVSSAC Executive Director. “The complex’s high-quality turf fields and spectator-friendly layout provide an excellent championship environment for student-athletes and fans alike.”
