Baker Tilly takes week one lead in Men’s Golf League standings

TENNERTON – Baker Tilly took the early lead in week one of the Buckhannon Country Club Men’s Golf League standings after defeating High Point Construction by a 19-16 score.

Hank Ellis Insurance and UniFirst Corporation reside in second place with 18 ½ points.

Hank Ellis Insurance beat Sam’s Pizza by an 18 ½-14 ½ score and UniFirst Corporation defeated Lisa Cain Edward Jones by a 18 ½-16 ½ count.

In the other two matches of the week, Highland Landscaping beat Feola’s Flowers by an 18-17 ½ score and Custom Cabinets downed First Community Bank by a 17 ½-14 score.

Chris Brady of Highland Landscaping and John Moss of Custom Cabinets earned Low Actual honors with 38s while J. C. Moss of High Point Construction and Lynn Helmick of Custom Cabinets each took home Low Net honors with identical 36s.
