B-U stays eighth in weekly WVSACA boys’ basketball poll

TENNERTON – The Buckhannon-Upshur Buccaneers stayed in eighth place in Class AAAA in the most recent WVSACA boys’ basketball poll.

B-U played just one game last week, a 50-46 road win against Fairmont Senior. With wins this week over Elkins and Grafton, the Bucs now stand at 11-5 on the season.

They will have a huge neutral site game on Thursday with No. 5 Class AA Bluefield at West Virginia State.

The top ranked team in the other three classes are Capital (Class AAA), Wheeling Central (AA) and Tug Valley (Class A)
