Growing up in Randolph County, Beth always knew her career path would lead to reporting. In fact, she was so dedicated to this vision of her future that she spent many hours composing articles on a 1931 Underwood manual typewriter. Following an internship at The Inter-Mountain, she studied journalism at WVU and later worked as a staff writer and part-time correspondent for The Inter-Mountain and The Parsons Advocate. Beth is currently the public information coordinator for the West Virginia American Radio Relay League. She is excited to be a part of My Buckhannon because she loves journalism, enjoys the Buckhannon area and its residents and is excited to share people’s stories. Beth’s favorite color is purple.
