On July 4, 2025, Upshur County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the area of 943 Mt. Nebo Rd. in Upshur County regarding an ATV crash with injury, according to a press release.
The victim, Patricia L. Campbell, 65, of Ravenna, Ohio, was pronounced deceased on the scene.
The investigation determined that the victim was not wearing a helmet; the ATV rolled over and ejected the victim. The investigation is ongoing.
The Upshur County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the West Virginia State Police, Upshur EMS, and Ellamore Fire Department.
