Carol J. Smith, Upshur County Clerk, would like to invite the citizens of Upshur County to an interactive demonstration of the new ExpressVote and DS200 Voting System on Tuesday, Oct. 16 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Brushy Fork Event Center

Citizens are also invited to stop by the County Clerk’s office during regular business hours for a personal interactive demonstration.

Clarksburg man sentenced to more than 12 years for leading Harrison County fentanyl operation

Clarksburg’s Michael Adam Sine was sentenced to 145 months in federal prison for leading a fentanyl trafficking operation across Harrison County. Investigators seized nearly half a pound of fentanyl, other drugs, firearms and cash.
