By prior administrative order, the Upshur County Circuit Court was closed for emergency matters or matters which could only be conducted remotely on September 8, 2020 for the protection of all persons having and doing business in the Upshur County Circuit Court.

However, all health and safety concerns have been addressed and are no longer an issue. Therefore, it is hereby ordered and decreed that the Upshur County Circuit Court shall reopen and be fully operational as of Monday, September 14, 2020.

Other offices in the Upshur County Courthouse are not affected by this order. All matters previously scheduled in this court will continue as planned.
