TENNERTON — One man was transported to the hospital later Friday afternoon with possible injuries following a one-vehicle rollover wreck on Route 20 South between Stony Run Road and Buckhannon-Upshur High School.

Investigating officer Tyler Gordon with the Upshur County Sheriff’s Department said the driver, the lone individual in the car, was taken by Upshur EMS to WVU Medicine St. Joseph’s Hospital but that the man’s injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.

The man was driving a Toyota Solara convertible.

Emergency responders work to clear the scene after extricating the driver from this Toyota Solara.

No other vehicles were involved. Traffic in both the northbound and southbound lanes was delayed while emergency responders worked to clear the scene.

In addition to Gordon and Upshur EMS, the Buckhannon Fire Department and the Buckhannon detachment of the West Virginia State Police responded to the scene.
