3. Describe your toughest practice at Buckhannon-Upshur. What sport and who was the coach? The toughest practice that I’ve had was during cross country, coach Justin Bowers made us do ‘Machine’ which was a trail that had winding hills and it was very hot and humid.
4. Do you have a favorite saying from one of your head coaches? Hurt now, smile later. This was a quote from coach Bowers and it’s great because it doesn’t just apply to cross country but life in general.
5. What was or is your favorite class you have taken at Buckhannon-Upshur and who taught it? Why was it your favorite? My favorite class I’ve taken was ProStart my freshman and sophomore year. I liked it because I enjoy cooking for others and seeing there reactions to my yummy food.
6. What is your favorite thing about being a Buccaneer? My favorite thing about being a Buccaneer is being able to work hard and achieve great things and have people look up to that.
7. If you were asked to play another sport, what would it be and why? I would play basketball because it always fascinated me and shooting the ball into the hoop was always satisfying.
8. Who is your hero and why? My hero is my best friend Gavin Stark. He always there for me and encourages me to do things I normally wouldn’t and I wouldn’t change that for anything.
9. What do you want to be when you grow up? I’ve been switching what I’ve wanted to do for years now and I’m still not sure. But for right now I interested in computer science and being able to work with them.

11. What question do you hate to answer? “What do you want to do with your life?” That’s the question I don’t like to answer because that’s entirely their choice.
12. Who is the best athlete in your family? I am currently the only person in my family who does sports so that would make me the best athlete in the family.
13. Do you have a favorite vacation spot? If so, where? I don’t really like to travel much and I find a lot of my comfort in my own home.
14. What is your favorite food and one thing you won’t eat? My favorite food is fried rice because its filling and you can put anything in it. I hate raw tomatoes. They have a weird texture and they taste revolting.
15. What advice would you give to a young athlete ready to start his/her time as a Buccaneer? Keep trying and working hard and you will get to where you want to be. It just takes time and patience.
