BUCKHANNON — The championship match is officially set in the Buckhannon Country Club Bob Cupp Memorial Golf League after both semifinals beat the raindrops Wednesday evening.
Neither matchup proved close. Lisa Cain Edward Jones rolled past Sam’s Pizza, 31½–18½, while First Community Bank handled Custom Cabinets, 30½–19½, to advance.
League officials have not yet announced the date for next week’s title match, where Lisa Cain Edward Jones and First Community Bank will vie for the championship.
Chris Brady of First Community Bank earned Low Actual honors in semifinal play with a 38. Teammate Burton Abel claimed Low Net honors with a 34.
