The City of Buckhannon and Upshur County will hold a community town hall on FEMA assistance and flood recovery Tuesday, September 15 at 6:30 p.m. at The Event Center at Brushy Fork.

The meeting is an opportunity for residents of Buckhannon and Upshur County to get information about FEMA assistance, flood recovery, available resources and what to expect moving forward.

Representatives from FEMA, local emergency management and other community partners will be available to answer questions and provide information to help residents navigate the recovery process.

The town hall will be recorded for those who can’t attend in person. Residents may send questions in advance to countycommission@upshurcounty.org, and they will be shared with the officials attending.

The Event Center at Brushy Fork is located at 929 Brushy Fork Road in Buckhannon.
