City of Buckhannon moves forward on proposed $1.69 million project to alleviate Camden Avenue flooding

Buckhannon is advancing a $1.69 million Camden Avenue flood control project after years of backyard and basement flooding. Under the proposal, FEMA would cover 75% of the cost, with the state adding 12.5%, leaving the city’s portion at about $211,000.
