City of Buckhannon transfer station temporarily closed

The Buckhannon Waste Department Transfer Station and recycling area are temporarily closed due to equipment failure, but regular waste collection services will continue uninterrupted until further notice.

The City of Buckhannon Waste Department Transfer Station has closed temporarily due to equipment failure. This includes the recycling area being closed to the public until further notice.

The Waste Department will continue to service all customers during this closure, adhering to the normal pickup schedule.

The city will announce when we can reopen as soon as the repairs are made. Thank you for your patience.
