The Mountain CAP Family Support Center, in collaboration with the WVU Extension Service, is offering a free Canning & Preserving Basics class on August 27 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The event will be held at 30 East Main Street in Buckhannon.

Class size is limited, and pre-registration is required. Interested participants can register by calling (304) 878-1115 or by emailing Lvannostrand@mountaincapwv.org. Basic demographic and household information will be requested during registration.

Participants will receive basic canning supplies upon completion of the class.
