St. Joseph’s Hospital Auxiliary now accepting applications for scholarships

BUCKHANNON, WV – Applications for St. Joseph’s Hospital Auxiliary scholarships are now available for the fall academic year.  The application forms are available at the Buckhannon-Upshur High School’s counselor office or at the information desk in the main lobby of St. Joseph’s Hospital.

The application should be completed and submitted by May 1, 2024.  Completed applications may be mailed to:  Auxiliary Scholarship Chairperson c/o St. Joseph’s Hospital, One Amalia Drive, Buckhannon, WV  26201.

The scholarship is awarded based on the following criteria:

  1. Must be a resident of Upshur County.
  2. Must be a high school graduate with a GPA of at least 3.5 or alternate education certificate.
  3. Enrollment in a health care career program is required.  The facility offering the program must be accredited and award a license or certificate upon successful completion of the program.

St. Joseph’s Hospital Auxiliary will be awarding two $1,000 scholarships in 2024 to two qualifying students.
