Patricia Brown Kelley, of Buckhannon, WV, went home to be with the Lord on May 22, 2026.
Patty was born on December 18, 1963, in Charlton Heights, WV. She was 62 and taken too soon.
She was the daughter of the late Lonnie Franklin Brown Jr. and Arlene Harper Brown, who both preceded her in death. On December 23, 2008, Patty married Freddie Kelley, and they were married for almost eighteen years. They resided in Buckhannon, where Freddie was her caregiver and took care of her until her passing. Brandon Kelley, her stepson, also helped take care of Patty.
She was blessed with two beautiful daughters, Kathy Pruett of Buckhannon, WV, and Krystal Pruett of Grand Rapids, MI. She was also blessed with four grandchildren, Jace Pruett of Buckhannon, WV, and Cara, Kylee, and Cooper Kayner of Grand Rapids, MI.
She had six siblings, Cindy Boyce of Buckhannon, WV, Chessie Belcher of Gauley Bridge, WV, and Lonnie Brown III of Cannelton Holler, WV, who still survive. She was preceded in death by three siblings, Phyllis Wright and James Brown of Glen Ferris, WV, and Paul Douglas Brown of Cain Branch, WV.
She is survived by several nieces, nephews, and her cousin Arlene, who is like a sister.
She will be cremated and no services have been planned at this time. She will be missed but never forgotten.
