Coleman D. Curry, 89, of Buckhannon, died Friday, July 29, 2022, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon.
He was born on July 1, 1933, at Alexander, a son of the late Odbert James and Viola June Depoy Curry. On May 12, 1956, he was united in marriage to Cecelia Marie Brown Curry, who preceded him in death on May 19, 2011. In addition to his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by three sisters: Evelyn Curry, Charlotte Mayme Woody, and Marguerite Hefner.
He is survived by two sons: David Curry and companion Beni Bender of Buckhannon and Michael Curry and wife Barbara of Buckhannon; one daughter Jan and husband George Pouzenc of Front Royal, VA; one grandson Brandon Curry; one sister Rachel and husband Charles Meyer of Easley, SC; and several nieces and nephews.
Coleman enjoyed hunting.
The family will receive friends at the Heavner & Cutright Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, from 12:00-1:00 PM—the funeral hour. Interment will follow in the Buckhannon Memorial Park.
