B-UHS, Post 7 baseball teams to sponsor Poker Ride at Pickens VFD on Nov. 6

PICKENS – The Pickens Volunteer Fire Department, along with the Buckhannon-Upshur High School baseball team and the American Legion Post 7 baseball team, are sponsoring an ATV-UTV Poker Ride on Saturday, Nov. 6.

Registration will begin at 8 a.m. and the ride begins at 10 a.m.

The poker ride will include a prize for the best hand and will have five stops starting and stopping at the Pickens Volunteer Fire Department.

A biscuits and gravy breakfast will be available at the check-in for $5 and for a $10 donation if you are not riding. Food will also be available after the ride.

All proceeds will benefit the Buckhannon-Upshur High School and American Legion Post 7 baseball programs.
