40th anniversary of SJMH Cardiac Rehab planned for June 20

The Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Cardiac Rehab Department will be celebrating 40 years of service to the area at a special celebration on June 20 at the Hospital.

The tentative plans are for an open house from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with special screenings during the afternoon and a healthy lunch for the Cardiac Reunion.

“We are so proud of the success of our patients who have gone through our program here at SJMH,” explained Cardiac Rehab Nurse Manager Kristi Gannon.  “All of our staff have worked tremendously hard to educate and help our patients thrive through our department.  This celebration is another way that we can let our community know about how effective and important cardiac rehab is for our patients and for our community. We have the absolute best department in the state.”
