WVWC’s Stoffel named MEC Co-Pitcher of the Week

BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – Kendall Stoffel has been named Mountain East Conference Co-Pitcher of the Week, the league announced Monday afternoon. Stoffel shared the award with Fairmont State’s Emma Gates.

The Saint Albans, W.Va. native went 3-0 last week with road wins over Frostburg State, Glenville State and Concord. Stoffel pitched 19 innings, giving up no runs or earned runs and only surrendering six hits. She also struck out 15 batters and had a complete game one-hitter against Frostburg State.

Stoffel is the second Lady Bobcat to be named MEC Pitcher of the Week as Hannah Hudson took the weekly award two weeks ago.
