WVWC’s Hudson and Robinson achieve CoSIDA Academic All-District Honors

GREENWOOD, Ind. – West Virginia Wesleyan softball players Hannah Hudson and Alli Robinson have been recognized for their achievements on the field and in the classroom by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
 
Hudson and Robinson have been selected to the CoSIDA Academic All-District 2 Softball First Team. The Academic All-District teams divide student-athletes into eight geographic districts across the United States and Canada.
 
The 2021-22 Academic All-District® Softball Team, selected by CoSIDA, recognizes the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. First-team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in June. 
 
Hudson earned a 3.94 cumulative GPA in the Exercise Science undergraduate program and a 4.00 cumulative GPA in the graduate Athletic Training program. The senior pitcher was named Mountain East Conference Pitcher of the Year. Robinson, an Exercise Science major, has a 3.81 cumulative GPA and led the MEC in OPS (1.277), home runs (14) and RBIs (60).
