WVDNR announces details about youth outdoor adventure contest with Whitetail Frenzy

SOUTH CHARLESTON, W.VA. — The West Virginia Division of Natural Resources (WVDNR) announced today a collaboration with Whitetail Frenzy to host an exclusive youth outdoor experience at the Little Coal River Wildlife Management Area (WMA) in Boone County on May 3–5.

Interested youth can enter a contest for the opportunity to attend by visiting one of the upcoming WVDNR Sectional Meetings and filling out a registration form. One lucky resident or non-resident youth aged 10–15 will be selected to participate in this special event, which includes participating in an episode of Whitetail Frenzy.

“Youth hunters and anglers represent the future of outdoor enthusiasts. This is an opportunity for a few youth to get outdoors and experience a mentored hunt, and maybe even get their first turkey. We are hopeful this will spark a life-long love of the outdoors,” said Brett McMillion, WVDNR Director. “Thanks to our partnership with Whitetail Frenzy, participants will be able to enjoy several of our state’s great outdoor experiences, while spending time on one of our newest wildlife management areas.”
