Winter open house planned at Glenville State College

GLENVILLE, W.Va. – Glenville State College invites future Pioneers to attend its upcoming Winter Open House on Saturday, February 19 at 10:00 a.m.

“We welcome prospective students and their families to Glenville State College for our Winter Open House. This particular Open House is a big deal because it just happens to coincide with our 150th anniversary celebration at Glenville State,” said Director of Admissions, Chelsea Stickelman. “I urge students to join us for the day and picture themselves as a future Pioneer.”

The day’s schedule starts with check-in from 10:00-11:00 a.m., followed by a welcome and information session at 11:00 a.m., academic department meetings and information sessions at 11:30 a.m., a campus tour at 12:30 a.m., and a complimentary lunch at the Waco Center at 1:30 p.m.

Prospective students and their families are then invited to cheer on the Pioneers at the men and women’s basketball games beginning at 2:00 p.m. in the Waco Center.

Staff members from Admissions, Financial Aid, and Athletics will be on hand to answer questions throughout the day.
