West Virginia State High School Softball tournament pairings and times set

CHARLESTON — The pairings and times have been set for the 2023 West Virginia State High School Softball Tournament.

The tournament features the four regional winners from each classification and will be played at Little Creek Park in South Charleston. The double elimination tournament will be played May 24-25.

The semifinal round, winners bracket final and first elimination games will be played on Wednesday. The losers bracket final and championship rounds will be played on Thursday.

Class AA games will be played at Craft Field. The Class AAA and A games will be played at “The Rock.”

Game 1 – John Marshall (27-4) vs. Cabell Midland (21-5) – 9:45 a.m.

Game 2 – Jefferson (21-6) vs. George Washington (21-11) – 30 minutes after

Game 3 – Game 1 loser vs. Game 2 loser – 4:45 p.m.

Game 4 – Winners bracket final – 30 minutes later

Thursday, May 25

Game 5 – Game 3 winner vs. Game 4 loser – 9:45 a.m.
