Wesleyan’s Deniz named to 2023 United Soccer Coaches All-Atlantic Region Team

BUCKHANNON — West Virginia Wesleyan College’s Sinasi Emre Deniz has been named 2023 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division II Men’s All-Atlantic Region Second-Team.

The senior forward from Istanbul, Turkey scored 24 points on 10 goals and four assists in the 2023 season, including a hat-trick against California University of Pennsylvania on September 19.

Deniz was also named the Mountain East Conference’s 2023 Offensive Player of the Year and ALL-MEC First Team.
