Wesleyan track breaks two records at Jud Logan Light Giver Open

ASHLAND, Ohio – The Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track & Field teams had another impressive outing this weekend at the Second Jud Logan Light Giver Open in Ashland. The Bobcats broke two new school records, four Top-5 finishes and 10 new personal records.

New School Records
Ny’Tierra Hobbs broke the school record in the 200-meter dash, running a 25.34 and placing 3rd in the event.

Cayden Robinson ran a time of 8:37.49 in the 3000-meter run, breaking a school record and finishing 11th in the run.

Notable Finishes
Evan Pyles finished 5th in the 5000-meter run and set a new PR, crossing at 15:20.17.

Ny’Tierra Hobbs had a new personal-best and placed 4th in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.66.

Other Notable Performances
Aubrey Wiethe set a new PR in the 60-meter hurdles at 9.49
Dakota Johnson ran a 2:22.72 in the 800-meter dash, finishing 16th and setting a new PR
Elizabeth Kittle had a throw of 11.29m in the Weight Throw, good enough for a new personal-best
Jacqualin Leaman also set a new PR in the Weight Throw with a throw of 10.81m
Madison Salinas had new personal-best in the Shot Put, throwing 9.63m
Charles Malone finished at 7.22 in the 60-meter dash, setting a new PR
Aaron Kupfner finished 11th and set a new PR in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.48
Roman Moore threw 13.82m in the Weight Throw for another personal-best
