Wesleyan tennis teams sweep UVa.-Wise

West Virginia Wesleyan’s men’s and women’s tennis teams each edged UVA Wise 4-3 on Oct. 25, 2025, with both squads winning key singles matches after split doubles results to secure tight nonconference victories.

WISE (Va.) — The West Virginia Wesleyan men’s tennis team earned a thrilling 4–3 road victory over UVA Wise on Saturday afternoon, grinding out three-set singles battles and capturing a key doubles point to secure the nonconference win.

WISE, Va. — The West Virginia Wesleyan women’s tennis team battled through a tightly contested match on Saturday afternoon, earning a 4–3 victory over UVA Wise. The Lady Bobcats clawed back after dropping the doubles point to capture four singles matches and seal the team triumph.
