Wesleyan indoor track teams run at Marshall Invitational

HUNTINGTON — The West Virginia Wesleyan Bobcat indoor track and field teams were back in action this weekend at the Marshall Invitational. Both teams had personal records achieved and ran seasonal bests.

Jonathan Norton had a great day on the track, with his 5000m run in a time of 15:22. Elijah Hannig had a personal best race in the 800m with a time of 2:00.10. Gavin Knight also had a PR in the 400m race with a time of 51.32. Micheal Hansford had a great day by winning the triple jump and placing fourth in the long jump.

Lindsey Dillon had a personal record in the 800m with a time of 2:20.04, which gave her a sixth place finish. Aubrey Peas won the 500m race this week with a time of 18:52.27. Ayanna Woods placed in fifth place in the 60mH Final with a time of 9.26.

The Bobcats are back in action this weekend with the Mountain East Conference Indoor Championship.
