Strawberry Festival – Schedule for Saturday, May 11

The 78th West Virginia Strawberry Festival kicks off Saturday with one of the four parades featured in this year’s week-long berry extravaganza — the always popular Horse and Carriage Parade, which will clomp down Strawberry Lane beginning at 3 p.m.

Earlier in the day, the action will be downtown, with a variety of equestrian-themed activities in the Main Street area. Swing by the area near Stockert Youth Center to see a trick show and much more as the festival gets into full swing.
