Pamela Gayle Allender passed from this life at her home in the Lick Run Community on Saturday, August 22, 2026. Her death was unexpected, but she had been in ill health for many years.
She was born May 27, 1956, in Cuyahoga, Ohio. Pam was the daughter of the late Carey and Augusta Harman Allender.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant sister, Sheila; her grandparents, Ira and Madge Harman and C.C. and Anna Altender; her uncles, Deward Harman, Lolye Harman, Maynard Hanifan, Troy Wentz, Oliver Cornell, Conrad Allender, Allman Allender, and Charles Allender; and her aunts, Avandelene Cornell, Gwendolyn (Teddy) Wentz, Francis Seaman, Julia Ferguson, and Llewellyn Boyd.
Pam practiced as a CNA for several years in Ohio. She was unable to complete her nursing degree due to a disabling back injury. Pam loved to read when she could, watch TV, and shop on Amazon. She will be truly missed.
Those left to cherish her memory are her uncle, Gary Harman and wife Susan of Buckhannon; her aunt, Luella Hanifan of Buckhannon; her aunt, Dianna Payne and husband Glenn of Arizona; many cousins; and her caregiver, Michelle, and son Raymond.
Pam’s request for cremation has been honored, and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
