BUCKHANNON — The Upshur Cooperative Parish House and St. Joseph’s Hospital will hold a free vaccine clinic for COVID-19 on Monday, August 30 outside the Parish House located at 68 College Avenue in Buckhannon.

The clinic will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is open to anyone over the age of 18. The vaccine to be given will be Johnson and Johnson and requires only one vaccine. Door prizes will also be given out for those receiving the vaccine. With the increase in infection due to the highly contagious delta variant, everyone is urged to get vaccinated.

The vaccines are safe and are highly effective at preventing severe disease and death. For more information, call 304-472-0743.
