The Upshur Parish House is now accepting applications for Easter Meal Packages. Upshur County residents can pick up applications at the Parish House and submit them in person between February 18-28 at the Parish House in Buckhannon. The Parish House Rock Cave location will be accepting applications on February 19 and 26 from 12-4pm and neighbors can select to pick up their easter meal packages at this location.

Applications are available at the Parish House. In addition to completing the form, families will be asked to provide proof of residency and income. If families received a meal package for another holiday, they are still required to reapply for their Easter Meal Package. If an applicant is experiencing homelessness, the Parish House will waive the proof of residency requirement.

Applications must be submitted in-person between February 18-28 in Buckhannon and February 19 and 26 in Rock Cave. Families will be notified the week of March 31 to let them know when their easter meal package will be available for pickup.

The Parish House is also accepting donations for the Easter Meal packages.

Donations include boxed mac and cheese, canned vegetables, canned fruit, canned yams and cake mix. These items can be dropped off between 9am-1pm at 68 College Avenue in Buckhannon. Monetary donations can be earmarked specifically for Holiday Meal Packages, another specific program or go towards greatest need.
